Friday night at the Crab Fair saw Whitehaven MAG with excess marshals so the adventurous Anne and Caroline entered the wheelbarrow race. The idea is to call at every pub on Egremont main street and down half a pint. They did very well winning a prize for first female team home (they were the only female team). Well done lasses its not the prize that counts it's the fact that you took part in the event and hopefully next year you will have encouraged more lasses to take part and make the event even more entertaining. Our picture shows the girls at one of the drink stops.

The crab fair takes place annually on the third Saturday in September in the market town of Egremont. Whitehaven MAG help the organisers by providing marshals to patrol the main street on Friday and Saturday. The MAG crew have a tombola stall on the Saturday which helps to raise much needed funds for MAG.
